Age: 37
Personality: Calm; rational; often the oil on troubled waters when Sherlock has irritated everyone else too much. I... put up with things. It's better for everyone that way.
Specialities: I'm a Detective Inspector. They don't hand that title out for free. Though to listen to Sherlock's opinion of us all, you'd almost think they did.
Loves: A properly resolved case. A pint after the paperwork. A football match where the Blades don't lose (well, I can dream).
Dislikes: Sherlock's bloody swanning about leaving us to clean up after him. That and murder, I suppose. Don't make me choose. Oh, and Sheffield Wednesday. And Anderson's attitude. (Don't even protest, Anderson, not until you've given me the sample results from last week's double homicide. You're not paid for nothing.)
Job: Detective Inspector, like I said. Might as well add "Holmes' babysitter" to the list. Thank God that doctor's come along. Looking after Sherlock isn't a one-man job.
